Organizations often expect cloud collaboration platforms to provide public file sharing experiences similar to consumer solutions such as Dropbox. In this engagement, the customer required a structured external document sharing mechanism where multiple folders could be accessed using a single public link without user authentication.

02 / CHALLENGE

The requested parent link was outside the SharePoint sharing model.

The customer had already created multiple document libraries and expected to generate one anonymous parent link that would expose the complete folder hierarchy and allow external users to browse content seamlessly.
